Located in the far south of the Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet is one of the five prestigious names of the so-called Côte des Blancs. The white wines from here are the most powerful in the area and the most beautiful come from the north of the appellation, near the border with Puligny. For this regular Chassagne-Montrachet, Jadot only buys the best chardonnay from farmers with whom agreements have been made for a long time. The pressed juice is fermented in oak, followed by a subsequent maturation of eighteen months in barrels.
