The rest of the label is Spanish for advanced learners, namely "Denominacion de origen calificada" stands for the highest quality category of wines in Spain. In order to be allowed to bear this name, the company and the wine must meet very strict quality standards. In November 2004, Baron de Ley was named best winery in Spain by the International Wine & Spirit competition.
Taste: This light clear white wine has a fresh scent and the taste is a complex combination of fragrant herbs and fresh fruit. The Malvasia grape gives this wine a little creaminess.
